We believe the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God and that all scripture (old and new testament) governs the lives of Christians. (II Timothy 2:15)

We believe in one true and living God and that Jesus Christ was God incarnate in the flesh. JESUS CHRIST is GOD! (John 10:30; John 14:6; Philippians 2:6; Colossians 2:9)

We believe that sin separates man from God. The only way to reconcile man to God is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and apply His blood to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We are saved by grace through faith. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8; I John 1:7-10; Revelation 1:5)

We believe that salvation comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Ghost/Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. (Matthew 1:21; Matthew 20:17-19; John 3:16)

 

We believe that in order for your name to be written in the book of life, you must be born again. (John 3:3-5)
 
We believe that water baptism by immersion, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin is essential for salvation. (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-11)

We believe that the receiving and indwelling of the Holy Ghost/Spirit is essential to salvation and places you into the body of Christ and gives you the power to live holy and righteously for God.

Evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost/Spirit according to scripture is an uncompromising love for God and others, a boldness to witness and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, an earnest desire for Christian service as well as the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as God's Spirit gives utterance.

We believe that the children of God are required to live a holy and sanctified life. (Romans 12:1-2; II Timothy 2:19; Ephesians 4:24-28; I Peter 3:8-18)

 
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Repentance to God for every believer is necessary for the forgiveness of sin. (Romans 3:23; IJohn 2:1-2) 

We believe that the Lord's supper should be observed. (I Corinthians 11:17-34)

 

We believe Marriage is an ordinance of the Church and has been established and ordained by God. The Door Of Hope Christian Church recognizes marriage as exclusively the godly and legal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. (Gen. 2:24, Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7, ICor. 7:3-5, Eph. 5:21-33, Heb. 13:4)

We believe that God blesses his children financially through giving and tithing, which is a form of worship. (Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:8-12; Luke 6:38; IICor. 9:6-12)

We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, called the rapture! (Matthew 24:27; I Thessalonians 4:15-18; Revelation 19:11-16)

We believe we should be given to hospitality through service and support to all which exemplifies the Love of Christ. (Romans 12:9-18)
